Neighbourhood

This flat is located in a quiet artists’ area "Krymská" (little Kreuzberg in Prague) with nice pubs and bars as well as restaurants nearby.

One of the most beautiful Prague parks – "Havlickovy sady" is located around the corner. This park with fountains and lakes has much to see. You can enjoy a nice view of South Prague from the terrace of Grebova Villa. Or you meditate in a sandstone labyrinth Grotta, have coffee and cake in the nice Altán café which provides you an overwhelming view over the vineyard. The local wine is served in the wine cellar in the middle of grape-vine trees. Your kids will like the playgrounds. Seniors can enjoy the sitting on dozens of benches or do exercises in the seniors’ corner.

Riegrovy sady Park with the largest Prague beer garden is in 10 minutes walking distance uphill and besides the world famous Pilsner Urquell beer will offer you one of the most beautiful overlooks of the Old Town and Prague Castle! A few steps away from this park you can also explore the city from Prague’s TV tower at a height of 93 meters.

One grocery store is right in the house and more you can find in the street. There are two large shopping malls located a few tram stops away.

Public transportation in this area is fantastic. In general, you can walk to many fascinating sites, if you don’t rush, just take a walk over Vinohrady´s residential area to Wenceslas Square and Old Town. If you are kind of lazy, the nearest tram stop is 50m from entrance door and its name is "Krymska". Tram number 22 will take you on the city tour for 1€ ticket, no need to book any touristic bus. With this tram you will hit quickly all metro lines. Two stops away is NÁMĚstÍ MÍru (metro line A), next stop is I.P.pavlova (metro line C) and two stops further is karlovo NÁMĚstÍ (metro line B). On this stop you can get off to walk to Dancing House and make a nice walk on river banks. If you will continue further, the tram takes you to National Street then you will pass National Theatre and cross the river to Little Quarter. If you want to walk the famous Charles Bridge just get off on malostranskÉ NÁMĚstÍ tram stop or continue to praŽskÝ hrad stop and you are there – on Prague Castle, the biggest castle complex in the word.
Night trams 97,99 are also available, so you'll never have an issue coming home, no matter what time of night!

Please send me your arrival time so we can agree how the keys will be overtaken. I will make sure that either I or one of my assistants will be at spot waiting for you. Also, let me know if you have any requests for sleeping arrangements.
